The tea areas are distributed on hillsides at an altitude of 600 to 1,200 meters; Together with Wenshan Baozhong Tea, Oriental Beauty Tea, Songbai Changqing Tea, Mucha Tieguanyin Tea, Three Gorges Longjing Tea, Alishan Zhulu Tea, Taiwan High Mountain Tea, Longquan Tea and Sun Moon Lake Black Tea, it is also known as “Top Ten Famous Teas in Taiwan”. Among them, Dayuling tea can be said to be the king of high mountain teas and is very precious. Generally, the tea gardens above 95K on the Zhongheng Highway can be called Dayuling tea. Although the distance from 95K to 105.5K in the Dayuling tea area is more than ten kilometers, there are not many tea gardens, mainly because the high mountains are suitable for tea. It is difficult to maintain, so the output of Dayuling tea is small and the price is high. It is regarded as a rare treasure of Taiwanese tea.

Yuan Chun Ming Tea from 1928 to present

In 1928, a tea farmer founded Yuanchun Tea in Nantou County, Taiwan (then known as Nantou Ting).
At that time, Taiwan was under Japanese occupation, and tea, as an important economic crop, was highly valued. Among them, the Dadaocheng Yangxing Tea Street was particularly popular, and Taiwan was world-renowned for the quality of its black tea.
With his love for tea and superb tea-making skills, Yuanchun started his tea business, built his own tea garden, tea factory, trained his own team of tea-making masters, and started an international tea business in Nantou.

As history rolls on, the fragrance of tea remains

As the years go by, Yuanchun Tea has experienced the ups and downs of Taiwan’s tea industry. From the peak of the Japanese colonial period, to the end after World War II, and then to modern revival, Yuanchun Tea has always remained true to its original aspirations and insisted on paying equal attention to tradition and innovation.
After the end of World War II, Taiwan’s tea industry fell into a trough. A large number of tea farmers changed careers, tea gardens were abandoned, and market demand dropped. Faced with such a dilemma, the second generation of Yuanchun Tea Making Company was not discouraged.
He knows that only by improving the quality of tea and deepening its integration with international standards can he regain market recognition. Therefore, on the basis of retaining the traditional tea-making process, he introduced modern science and technology to improve the tea production process and enhance the stability and quality of the product.

From tradition to modern innovation

Entering the 21st century, with the development of globalization and people’s increasing demand for healthy drinks, Taiwanese tea has ushered in new opportunities. The third generation of Yuanchun Tea Company changed its name to Yuanchun Tea in 2000 to bring closer tea lovers who were unfamiliar with Taiwanese tea. With an international perspective and enthusiasm for the family business, they began to promote Taiwanese tea to the world and at the same time Xinti Tea Co., Ltd. was established in 2017 to connect with countries around the world and exchange tea technology and expertise with different talents, majors, perspectives and thinking.

A cup of Yuanchun tea, savoring the centuries-old tea spirit

After nearly a century of ups and downs, Yuanchun Tea still maintains its persistence in the quality of tea and respect for traditional craftsmanship. It has always used tea to make friends, adhering to the following principles: good to drink, easy to understand, easy to remember. As Yuanchun provides tea friends with the responsibility and good direction.
Delicious: There are no international restrictions. Regardless of the prejudice against tea, it can be used as a tea to entertain anyone.
Easy to understand: Even a fellow who does not have a deep understanding of tea can understand good tea the moment he drinks it.
Easy to remember: There is no complicated tea culture, just taste and vision to sense and experience the memory of a cup of good tea.
